ChattanoogaPagans.org
the online home for the pagan community in
the Chattanooga, TN area
Welcome to the Chattanooga Pagans web site!
This site is for and by our community (meaning the social group
sharing common interests in paganism and perceived or perceiving
ourselves as distinct in that respect from the larger society within
which we exist). It is not simply an extension of the Chattanooga
Pagans group on Yahoo although many who contribute here also participate
there. We encourage everyone in the community to contribute to this
site: we want your essays, your news, your projects, your proposals,
your suggestions, your inspirations, your recommendations...in short,
your participation. This is your community and
this site is your opportunity to step forward and make your presence
known.
There are several ongoing projects in progress in the Chattanooga
area. They include a monthly Pagan Night Out (PNO)
and the Chattanooga
Spirit Gathering, which is hosted by the Hearth
Fire Spiritual Alliance (HFSA).
Pagan Night Out (PNO)
Pagan Night Out is held at a local restaurant on the 13th of each
month. This is an opportunity for local pagans to meet for relaxed
introductions and conversation. We also use this opportunity to
collect canned food donations for the Chattanooga Food Bank.
Chattanooga Spirit Gathering (CSG)
Chattanooga Spirit Gathering is the new name for the Chattanooga
Pagan Community Gathering, hosted by Hearth Fire Spiritual Alliance.
Check out their web site for more information: www.hearthfirespiritualalliance.org
Also, if you want a t-shirt or other merchandise that features the
2006 CPCG logo, visit the CPCG
Shop on Cafe
Press. Also check out the Magical
Family Shop that features the artwork from the logo without
the gathering name (for those who are still in the broom closet).
Hearth Fire Spiritual Alliance (HFSA)
The Hearth
Fire Spiritual Alliance is made up of individuals who
desire to work cooperatively and be a positive influence in our
community. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do the work
of making our communities peaceful places of co-existence and mutual
support. Various committees include CSG, Charity, Community Service
and Public Service. Please visit their web site for more information:

Please also check out our online store at Amazon.com. The affiliate income from purchases made through this storefront helps to pay for the web site hosting expenses.
We also have a Community Calendar
listing dates and places for things that may interest our community.
We're looking for pagan events, native American events, Celtic events,
Norse events, etc. You can even add your own birthday to this calendar.
Contact our webmistress
for help with adding events and important dates to the calendar.
As more information becomes available, we
will share it with you here.
